The development, which will be for people over the age of 70, will be named Bluebell House after the flowers that populate Howe Park Wood each spring.
Currently under construction at Westcroft by McCarthy Stone, the complex faces the Ancient Forest, which is a Site of Specific Scientific Interest,
Bluebell House will include ‘luxury’ one and two bedroom apartments and they will be available to purchase off-plan from this summer 2022.
The first occupants should move in during the month of December and potential buyers are asked to express their interest now.
Sam Watkins, Divisional Sales Manager at McCarthy Stone, said: “Milton Keynes is known as a relatively new town, but the area has a rich natural history which we wanted to acknowledge in naming this development.
“The beautiful woods opposite Bluebell House will be perfect for retirees who love the great outdoors, while the central location will also provide owners with easy access to local shops and amenities. We can’t wait to show off the development in all its glory later this year.
The apartments will bridge the gap between conventional retirement residences and residential care, and a property manager and experienced team will be available day and night.
The development will feature an owners lounge, on-site bistro, lounge and landscaped gardens.
Customers will also be able to choose from a range of Retirement Living Plus solutions tailored to their individual situation, whether they prefer to buy all, rent or take advantage of the buy-part, rent-part option.
